Although I’m not a resident in the village - my normal access is by means of the scenic footpath via Piggots Farm - the welcoming atmosphere as a visitor is always evident. Being part of the Abridge Church family is something I appreciate, also in knowing that God is relevant to every part of our lives. This has been my experience particularly having worked in a pressured, high-profile public-facing role in a civil service department. So leading at Sunday services and sharing what God says through the Bible about His interest and involvement in our personal lives (including our leisure activities - mine involve growing veg and jogging!) is something I believe is important.
